2025-21 Angie Watts Averhoff

Angie Watts Averhoff - Angie Watts Averhoff, a graduate of Tarleton State University and a four year member of the rodeo team, competed in breakaway roping and goat tying. Angie was an instrumental part of Tarleton’s winning the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Assn. girls’ team championship in 1969 and 1970. For her talent and effort devoted to rodeo during college and beyond, Angie is a member of the Tarleton Rodeo Hall of Fame and the Texas Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame. Ever the competitor, she still competes in the roping today; however, now days the team roping is her event of choice. Angie served as the All Around Director for the Professional Women's Rodeo Association.
