Jan Youren is a Four Time World Champion cowgirl. She rode bareback horses and bulls, competing for 51 years until the age of 63.
Jan was inducted into the Cowgirl Hall of Fame in 1993.
Jan was inducted into the Idaho Rodeo Hall of Fame in 2015.
Jan has been a mentor and huge supporter of women riding rough stock. Many of her students including her daughter, Tonya Stevenson, have gone on to win World Championships in the Women's Pro Rodeo Association Bareback Bronc Riding event.
